  PERUVIAN BEAUTY WINS INTERNATIONAL TITLE
    AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO-LAS VEGAS

Peruvian model Elody Gamarra (at right) won the international title of the Most Beautiful Latina in the World at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Over thirty Latina models traveled from 20 Latin countries to participate in this illustrious search and pageant held poolside at the Hard Rock. The show was hosted by Telemundo's Ritmo Deportivo's Rene Braga, and the models were presented in evening gowns, native costumes (Cristina Mendivil of Mexico at left), and swimsuits. Telemundo's Cindy Martinez helped Braga with the introductions.

Elody (pronounced melody without the "m") hails from Lima, Peru, where she is studying to be an architect. When she is not attending the University, she is modeling or perfecting her passion of Muy Thai Boxing, in which she holds a Black Belt. Elody, along with six other finalists will travel to Jamaica for one week in May 2010 to compete in an International Latina event sponsored by Super Clubs Resorts. Elody will also travel with PlayerXT and Telemundo to Central and South America next year to find the 2010 Most Beautiful Latina Model in the World.

The weekend was staged and presented by PlayerXT, and sponsored by Thunderbird Resorts and Fiesta Casinos of Central and South America, Mike Hardy Real Estate Group, Piel Dorada, Ambhar Tequila, Caribbean Tan, and Shirley of Hollywood. It was a weekend that the models will not forget. On Friday night, they attended a Welcoming Party at the Hard Rock VIP suite where they were able to bowl and view the panoramic Las Vegas skyline. After the party, they were guests of the Hard Rock in a skybox at The Joint, where the watched a Van Morrison concert. On Saturday, after the pageant, they were abe to attend a Pet Shop Boys concert and VIP party at Body English Nightclub. Then on Sunday, the models closed down the world famous REHAB Pool Party for the summer. REHAB is currently airing on TruTV.

The entire weekend will air on Telemundo's Ritmo Deportivo during the television sweeps and on a nationally syndicated show entitled "The Search for..." which touts a viewership of 80 million homes. In conjunction with Fiesta Casino, PlayerXT traveled the Latin world to find these beautiful models. Nick Costas of Thunderbird Resort and Fiesta Casino was able to raise thousands of dollars for a disadvantaged school in Costa Rica with his Annual Fiesta Cup. PlayerXT was privledged to help with our Costa Rica Finals.
